Nearly ready. Some photos…
First up, the car as a whole – looks nice with everything bolted on again.
I’ve gone and bought a high definition camera, so hopefully (if it works) picture quality will increase. The old camera is still available, and I’m considering playing with it – for testing it’ll be a rear facing camera, but maybe a pedal-cam would be nice, or even under the bodywork…
The aluminium rear wing endplates were a bit squashed when Neil Harrison used me as a brake at Croft. We now have these lovely carbon affairs, which are lighter, stiffer and generally better. We think!
Last year we have three cables operating one master switch. One at the back to turn it on. One on the side of the tub to turn it off. And one in the cockpit to turn it off. Now, we just have a couple of easy-to-press buttons, which has simplified everything, and will make turning the car on that bit simpler.
And last, but not least, is a little pic of the car being set up. Our flat floor is visible, as are the cornerweight gauges we use (hydraulic). You can even see the little pink steering rack spacers for setting the tracking accurately!
