This is brilliant! It’s not me, but a fellow Monoposto competitor. After retiring on the run up to Druids hairpin, he forgets to leave it in gear (or stay in the car and wait for assistance), and then battles to refit the steering wheel whilst it rolls backwards towards an active race circuit. Finally, he throws himself under the wheels in a bid to slow it, but he fails and the car trundles down the hill and crosses the track, narrowly missing other cars…

However, because everyone was okay and there was no damage, it takes on a new humorous quality. Watch it – it’s hilarious!!!
