We can offer the following services regarding competition preparation through our company Omicron Engineering Ltd. Primarily we are a restoration firm specialising in pre-1976 Lancia cars, but have prepared a number of cars, Lancia and other marques, to various degrees of competition specification from full blown racing Fulvias (for the HSCC championship) to part converted international historic rally spec. Omicron Engienering employs highly skilled technicians and engineers, so we can manage and meet all your needs. In addition we have prepared the Reynard 883 used so successfully in 2006, 2007 and 2008 by ourselves and the Dallara F398 for 2009 and beyond. Privately Martin, Tristan and Andrew hae build cars to various specifications – highlights including a Ginetta G4R, a Lancia Montecarlo ’semi-037 replica’ for trackdays, and a fire damaged Fulvia back to full health for trackdays too. We also prepared and raced a Lancia Fulvia Sport 1300 in the HSCC championship, with impressive results, in 2001 and 2002, quickly matching and beating other cars that had been in development for much longer with more experienced drivers.
We have recently acquired a large selection of Tom’s Toyota engine parts, including sumps, starter motors, oil pumps, crankshafts, camshafts, blocks, complete engines and lots of other useful parts. Please contact us if you need a part. In the future most of the stock will be available on the internet, probably via its own website. If we don’t have it, chances are we can source it or manufacture it for you.

Examples of recent CAD Design work, although components can range from spacers to mounting brackets to machined castings. We can also offer basic Finite Element Stress Analysis, allowing designs to be optimised for known loads and conditions. We offer in house machining, and can subcontract CNC milling, turning, laser cutting and water jet cutting as well.
